In keeping with the patriotic intent of the Defense Department officials that first put together the Internet, here is the latest in single panel on-line cartooning.
Started in 1992, "One Brick Shy" is a smorgasbord of hapless losers and nameless nobodies that inhabit the unemployed offices, bread lines, soup kitchens and trailer parks of America's pale underbelly.
It appears in the Charleston (WV) Daily Mail, Cleveland Plain Dealer's Sunday Magazine, as well as the Beckley Register Herald, Editorial Humor out of Massachusetts and the Northwest Comics News in Oregon.
