The Capt. James T. Kirk Sing-a-long Page

This music was first introduced to me by Rich Frazin

Little known to the civilized world, the great William Shatner (Kirk on the original Star Trek TV series) recorded a masterpiece of an album -- The Transformed Man -- back in 1968. In it, Shatner proves that his talents go far beyond those of film and into the world of music. I have studied this visionary work time and time again and never fail to find something new each time I listen. The real treasures of this album are (1) Mr. Tambourine Man, (2) Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, and (3) Theme for Cyrano.

But don't take my word for it: listen to the genius of Kirk for yourself...

"Quit playing on the Web you geeks! Get a life!"

And since Kirk was the Captain, the rest of the crew followed without question...

The Music of Mr. Spock!
And Data has an album, too!
Even Uhura put out an album...

Gees, I sure hope Scotty never released an album of bagpipe music!

How can I get a copy of these marvelous tunes?

This great album was previously available only as a European import but has recently been reissued in the U.S. so check your local record store. If they don't have it, demand that they stock it!

You can actually order this legendary CD from the online service The CD Connection right now by telnet to cdconnection.com! They have Shatner's work as well as the CD 'Highly Illogical' by Leonard Nimoy (note: As I understand it, 'Highly Illogical' is a 'greatest hits' (or maybe greatest misses) album which contains 'Spock Thoughts' as well as 'If I Had a Hammer..."
