SUPERCAT v2.1

OVERVIEW
SuperCat is a powerful, easy-to-use disk cataloging program,
ideal for anyone using removable disk media (CD-ROM, Zip, Jaz,
LS-120, etc.).

The purpose of this program is to easily locate files on removable
disks, without the need to have the disk physically accessible from
your computer. To achieve this, you must first create an index, or
catalog, of your disk(s). Both indexing and searching is very fast. 

New features in SuperCat 2.1 include:

Disk "Reindex" and "Remove orphans" options
Delete, Copy, Move and Rename files 
Search history list
Autocomments for image-, zip- and HTML files 
Support for 4DOS file descriptions
Search only a specific indexfile
User-configurable indexfile folder
Save results as HTML or semicolon-separated, database-ready textfiles
Configure your own index and search filters
Options tab for fast access to many new configuration setting
Import and export indexfiles
Drive icons in the Catalog library
Improved indexing speed 
Catalog all folders, including hidden and system directories



SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
SuperCat has been tested to work on a wide variety
of hardware and software configurations. If you can
run Windows 95, 98 or NT 4.0, you can run SuperCat. 

SuperCat will index FAT, FAT32 and NTFS filesystems,
in addition to network, removable and compact disks.

The report editor uses the standard Windows Courier New
fixed-width truetype font. If you don't have this font
installed on your system, we recommend that you install it.
Refer your Windows documentation for further instructions
on how to install fonts.


INSTALLATION
Run setup.exe and follow instructions.
You can safely install SuperCat 2.1 in the same folder
as any previous version.


LICENSE AGREEMENT
You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
before using this software. Your use of this software indicates
your acceptance of this license agreement.

SuperCat is distributed as shareware.

You may evaluate this software free for a period of 30 days.
If you wish to use it beyond the 30 day trial period,
you must register. A single user license is $25,00.
A registration entitles you to future upgrades and
free support.

You can register using our secure online credit card
ordering system, by fax, telephone or mail. See helpfile
or visit our website for further information.

The SuperCat shareware version is not crippled in any way,
except that it will show a friendly registration reminder
when you exit the program.
