With an average speed of 110 mph, Jerez is one of the slower 
circuits on the F1 calendar. It is a narrow circuit with plenty of 
tight bends, so cars should be set-up for handling rather than 
power. There are few overtaking places here, and the track 
suffers from becoming sandy during racing. Many cars take the
fast first bend too quickly, and end in the gravel trap!
