Last hosting a Grand Prix in the 1993 season, Kyalami is another
circuit at which overtaking is difficult. Despite this, long
straights combined with relatively straightforward corners, make
Kyalami a moderate to quick circuit with the cars reaching speeds
of around 180 MPH in places. It is not unknown for bright sunshine
to quickly give way to 'Monsoon' rains, which makes racing on this
short circuit quite unpredictable.
