Showà Button
This feature lets you choose what you want to see and what you don't want to see during your game. Click and hold on Show... for a submenu of items you can toggle on and off. Submenu items are described below.
Grid
The Grid shows the contours of the terrain around your lie. (Your lie is the area on the golf course where your ball is lying.) You might find the Grid helpful in deciding how to set up your next shot.
To toggle the Grid on and off, click and hold on the Show... button, slide your cursor to the Grid and then release the mouse button.
Dynamic Scenery
During your golf game, you'll see nature taking its course -- birds, clouds and the like go about their business all over your golf game. If you rather they do their business elsewhere, you can send them away.
To toggle Dynamic Scenery on and off, click and hold on the Show... button, slide your cursor to Dynamic Scenery and then release the mouse button.
Movement Control
Yes, it's true. Not only can you move the Movement Control around the Game Window, but you can even hide it if youÆd like (great for those arrow-keys kind of people).
To hide the Movement Control, click and hold on the Show... button, slide your cursor to Movement Control and then release the mouse button.
Wind Indicator
You can make the wind's direction and strength visible by using the Wind Indicator. The Wind Indicator is a small wind sock that appears when you toggle it on.
The direction of the wind is apparent by the direction the wind sock is blowing. The strength of the wind is illustrated in three different wind sock positions: hanging down, which indicates wind of 0 to 10 mph; blowing slightly, which indicates wind of 10 to 25 mph; and blowing straight out or almost straight out, which indicates wind of 25 to 35 mph. (You might find it helpful to use a less lofted club when playing into a strong wind.)
To toggle Wind Indicator on and off, click and hold on the Show... button, slide your cursor to Wind Indicator and then release the mouse button.
