Additional Charges and Pricing Notes:

* 3M Matchprint IIIs are made from negative 4-color film. Proofs can be made for spot color separations using the same materials, but require a special quotation. Color proofs from positive film add 50%.

Graphics time is charged after the initial 5 minutes of running time to the imagesetter per page. Applicable graphics time charges are billed at $90/hour for film under 17" x 17", and $180/hour for film larger than 17" x 17".

Turnaround Time

Normal turnaround time is 2-3 business days (not including delivery time). Rush jobs can be arranged, and will be billed at 50% surcharge for same day service (allow one extra day for delivery). Depending on existing work flow, this service is not always available.

Sending Your Files for Output

Please send files via Deneba's ftp server, (please see instructions)
Or, on Syquest(44 MB, 88 MB or 200 MB), Zip, Jaz, or floppy disk. We will return Syquest, Zip, Jaz, or floppy disks in the same condition they were delivered, along with your film and / or matchprint. Send to Deneba Software, Prepress Center, 7400 SW 87th Avenue, Miami, FL 33173. The phone number is (305) 596-5644 ext. 125.

Other Information

Before your job can be run, we will need information about how you want your job output. All jobs must be accompanied by a fully completed Output Request form.

Things you will need to have or know to complete the form:

Canvas 5 files.
The names of the files you want output, and the page numbers that you want output.
Font names (if from the Canvas 5 Font CD), or the actual printer (PostScript) and screen (bitmap) font if the fonts are from another source. Please note: Files containing TrueType fonts will not be accepted.
The output size, and whether crop marks, registration marks and plate names should be included.
Whether you want positive or negative film; emulsion up or emulsion down.
Resolution stated in dpi: 1270 dpi for 55 lpi to 60 lpi; 2540 dpi for 65 lpi to 150 lpi; 3386 dpi for 175 lpi
Line screen stated in lpi (see above).
Color separation type (process or spot colors) or composite.
Make sure all graphics are sent and that they have the correct resolution for the lpi you desire. As a general rule, the dpi of an image should be at least double the lpi (e.g. 300 dpi image required for 150 lpi output).
Indicate if a 3M Matchprint III proof is required.
When you need the job and the name, shipping address, phone number of the contact person.
Credit card number for billing.
