If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can get more
information about a font before saving it on your computer:
- Click on the font you want.
- If Explorer asks you if you want to Open the file or Save it to
disk, choose the Open option.
- More information about the font will then be displayed inside
a small window.

Once I download a font, how do I actually use it? |

In Windows 95:
- Open up the Fonts folder. To do this:
- Click the Start button.
- Highlight the Settings item.
- Click the Control Panel item.
- Double-click the Fonts icon.
- Click the File menu in the Fonts window.
- Click the Install New Font item.
- Choose the folder containing the font you just downloaded.
- Double-click the font you just downloaded.
The new font will now show up in the Fonts List of any application
using Windows 95 fonts.
In Windows 3.1:
- Open up the Fonts icon. To do this:
- Double-click the Control Panel item.
- Double-click the Fonts icon.
- Click the Add button and follow instructions.
The new font will now show up in the Fonts List of any application
using Windows 3.1 fonts. |
