DevNav: The Site Navigation Bar for the Web

Meet DevNav, a skinny navigation bar that lets you link to live sites in the For Developers Only area on the World Wide Web with a single click of the mouse. DevNav floats on your screen and stays on top of other windows, so it's available to you without taking up screen estate in your browser window. You can open it, move it, resize it, and close it as you please.

Please note that DevNav requires URL.DLL, which ships with Microsoft® Windows® 95 Plus Pack, Internet Explorer, and the ActiveX™ SDK. We've provided several options for downloading and running DevNav:

If you don't have Microsoft Visual Basic™ 4.0 (or any Visual Basic 4.0 application) installed on your machine, download the file provided below to install DevNav on your system. This will allow you to start and stop DevNav like any other application, through the Windows 95 Start menu. DevNav will start your browser, if the browser isn't running already on your system.

DownloadDownload DevNav program files (self-extracting file, 1 MB). Choose your browser's "Open" option to unzip the files, then run SETUP.EXE to install DevNav.

If you do have Visual Basic 4.0 (or any Visual Basic 4.0 application) installed on your system, click below, then:
