Thank you very much for purchasing this CD ROM. Your support will enable us to make sure other great products get into the hands of Japanophiles and otakus, where they belong. We have a lot of plans for the future, and we really appreciate your interest. Please give us a break and do not pirate the images on this CD ROM for others. This includes giving copies to a friend in exchange for a promise that he "not copy it for others," not uploading it to the Internet, not selling it to anyone, or anything else. Thanks.

For our part, we've worked very hard to make this a dynamite CD ROM, by giving you all images from the excellent Borderline series of dojin-soft computer graphics images (volumes 1, 2 and 3), completely uncensored, of course, in both their original full sizes and reduced sizes for smaller screens, as well as many other "omake" (extras), such as the Janis 1.0 set of CG images (another work of Mr. Sakaki's), all existing pre-production rough sketches, English translations of the two one-page mangas that were included with Borderline 2 and 3, the original high-resolution TIFF images from which the Borderline packages were printed, an in-depth and interesting interview with the artist, and more.

All existing images and rough sketches of Sakaki Naomoto have been provided on this CD ROM. Every effort has been taken to capture the "look and feel" of the Borderline series, which was published in the form of a floppy disk and printed insert. All art is included on the disc in its original TIFF format, as well as high-quality JPEG, which is viewable with any Web Browser.

Incidentally, if you don't know what "dojinshi" or "dojin-soft" mean, here's a brief explanation. "Dojin," according to my trusty online dictionary, has such meanings as "clique" "fraternity" "kindred spirits" and "comrade." A dojinshi is a comic book, often but by no means always with adult content. Dojinshi have low print runs, so they are expensive, but they are very valuable to collectors and rewarding to own. Dojin-soft is an outshoot of dojinshi, and generally consist of images distributed on floppy disk or CD ROM which have images, usually of adult content, on them.

The sample game images in the "Extras" folder in the root directory of this CD ROM are copyright (C) 1997 JAST USA. (We have made sure not to smear copyright notices all over the images you want to see, so please help us out by not pirating -- thanks.)
