Brief summary

The merciless criminal Kain has escaped from sub-space where he had been captured! Kain, who was deprived of his freedom by Jurai royal family and GP, demolished the GP headquarters and attacked the Jurai King. His next target is... earth!
Around the same time, on earth, Tenchi's house suddenly disappears. What's even worse is Tenchi's body is disappearing, too! Something must have happened to Tenchi's mother, Achika, in the past! So the gang must leave for a journey to the year 1970.
The gang has snuck into the high school where Achika and Tenchi's father Nobuyuki used to attend. Ryoko has noticed the man with wicked eyes who was stalking Achika. Helpless Tenchi, who can only watch from behind, is nervous with all the noisy and ditzy girls around him.
It's school excursion season. Achika, Nobuyuki , Tenchi and the gang takes the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Tokyo. Washu has predicted that Kain was about to attack Tokyo. Both Achika and Tenchi are already experiencing sever changes with their bodies.
In order to prepare for the attack on the Tokyo tower and to seal Kain off, the gang runs around Tokyo to set up their spiritual wave devices. This time, however, Kain's power is far stronger than they bargained for. To protect his parents, Tenchi is finally forced to pull out hit Tenchi sword! But who could guess the unpredictable outcome?
