Note: According to Newtype 1997.03, Riden's mother Kaaza runs a restaurant in Paras, and Hitomi's party dine there after docking the Crusade. Riden is not given a family name in the animated series itself, although the article in the Newtype issue above gives his mother's family name as Garusan.
