Note: According to Nobuteru Yuuki, the film staff will be mostly the same as that of the television series. He himself plans to begin work at the end of the summer of 1997, and will probably continue to work for over a year. The relationship between the television series and film will be similar to that of the first Super Dimension Fortress Macross series and film, Do You Remember Love?. Sunrise neither confirms nor denies any reports of an upcoming Escaflowne theatrical release.
