Whoah! Lotta work before I head back to school. Finally got two long-overdue reviews up. El Hazard TV Series 1 (The Wanderers) and Tenchi Muyo: Daughter of Darkness reviews are now up. There's also been some general straightening-up of those two parts of the website (El Hazard and Tenchi spotlights), mainly because AIC's taken the movie server offline so the media clips aren't available anymore. Daiundoukai/Battle Athletess preview has been updated as well to reflect Pioneer's release of the title in the US. I have no plans at current to review this title officially.
I'm going to try and watch The Ping Pong Club tape I got before the end of the month, so I hope to have that review up within a few weeks. But, knowing my schedule, don't look for it before February. I'll also be working on the Sons of Liberty fanfic as time permits.

Been on vacation the last week, but the complete Eternal Ghost with revisions is now available under Fanfics. I added a preview of my work in progress, Sons of Liberty. I'm working on a review of Ping Pong Club which should be available by the turn of the new year. Happy New Year!!

Well, Eternal Ghost went online yesterday on rec.arts.anime.creative and I'm starting to get some feedback. As snafus are caught, I'm revising them to make it a beter fanfic and will one day repost the entire fic in a single post. Thanks to those who've been kind enough to send me the caught errors...I really do appreciate it! I'm still on OB/GYN service (deliverin' babies and all) so I'm not going to have much time to do any anime reviews until mid-January. I'm also working on a Guest Pick's article for the Anime Web Turnpike, so that's taking up what's left of my time. So go ahead and read my fanfic, and send me those suggestions!

Part 5 of Eternal Ghost has been revised. AnimeLink is now a part of the first annual Dai-Anime Scavenger Hunt, which begins on December 1st. Click on the banner on the main screen to find out more details!

Parts 4 and 5 of Eternal Ghost are now online, and they conclude the fanfic. Enjoy!
November 22, 1998
Added parts 2 and 3 of Eternal Ghost to the Fanfic page. Also put up a new cover image, this one of Dragon Half, a good and hard-to-find anime.
November 21, 1998
Added the Fan Fiction page. The first part of Eternal Ghost is now online. Don't be too harsh with the criticism!
November 1, 1998
I've updated some of the release info in the Previews section since two of the titles will be released in 1999. There may not be any new reviews this month so that I can work on posting my first fanfic (yeah, I know), Eternal Ghost, which is an original Ghost in the Shell/Highlander cross-over. I'm going to post it by chapter as I convert from formatted text to raw text, and it should be finished by the end of the month. As with all fanfics, comments and criticism is not only inevitable but also welcome.

This site has been chosen as this week's Featured Local Website on Digital City South Florida! Starting to get some recognition now, huh?
October 18, 1998 HOORAY! ANIMELINK IS NOW TWO YEARS OLD! Med school is really keeping me busy, and I'm trying my darndest to keep up with these updates. There are two new distributors of anime out there, Buena Vista/Disney's Animation Celebration line and Bandai's AnimeVillage.com, so I've chosen a tape from each to review. In time for Halloween, I have the Kiki's Delivery Service review up, as well as the Saber Marionette J review. Some new links have been added to the Fan Links page and U-Jin Brand has been added to the Grand List of Reviews. In Kiki related news, the Miyazaki film Princess Mononoke will be released soon (this winter?) by Disney's Miramax arm. Video release should be shortly thereafter. Release under the Miramax label should allow Disney to present the film uncut. I don't have word on what voice actors have been called in for the dub, so if anyone has info please drop me a line.

So the hurricane missed me, but it's hitting the Big Easy as we speak. Georges has been a devastating storm to the Carribean, while down here all we had were a few knocked down trees. Such is luck, and such is fate.
Anyway, I spent today putting up the new cover photo (Saber Marionette J) and updating links that have been asked of me to update or add. As for reviews...I'm currently in the progress of getting the Saber Marionette J and Kiki's Delivery Service reviews up, so be patient. Hey, to prove that I'm not kidding, here's the pics that will be associated for these reviews:

Whew! I didn't think my rotations would be THAT time consuming! I may have to move to a six-week update schedule to track with my rotation schedule, but we'll see. Right now I'm on a rotation that has less time demand than Pediatrics did, so I should be able to get some badly-needed updates up. Right now I put up the El Hazard OVA 2 review up, as well as some updates to the various links pages. Anime Village, Bandai's US distributing arm, will be taking exclusively on-line orders this tuesday, and I can't wait for that first copy of Saber Marionette J! Also did some updates to the links pages, and found out that my Shirow Shrine got some attention when IconFactory decided to use it as a link for those who wanted to learn more about Masamune Shirow. Guess I better work on updating it too, huh? Well, that's all for now. Gotta get
back to working on those other updates!
