Once upon a time, there was a Prince riding a white horse. He rescued a child from unbearable sorrow. And as a token of the day, he gave to her his signet ring. They vowed, by the grace of God, that they would someday meet again. Holding tightly to this precious memory, the child became a noble young woman, desiring to be as her Prince had been. The world opposed her, but through it all she held firm. Until the day when they were once again united... but he had changed. She struggled to defeat what he had become...

But she failed. Or did she?
