Kogoro was spying on someone named Masaki Negisi when Conan was going home from his new Elementary School. The man, who was Kogoro spying on, was killed right after Kogoro stop spying on him. The police, investigate Kogoro because he is the only witness.
Negisi heirs 5 billion life insurance to Yutaka Abe who is only a friend. Yutaka told Kogoro that that (5 billion) was an amount of money they (Negisi and Yutaka) bet to. They bet about who live longer. Kogoro, offcourse, suspected him, moreover, Yutaka's Corp. has debt 3 billion, and also, Yutaka is the person who paid Kogoro for spying on Yutaka for 3 days.
Anyway, Conan solved Yutaka's Alibi. That is : From day 1 to day 2 Kogoro's spying, Negisi is the real one. In the night of 2'nd day, Yutaka killed Negisi, and ask another person to disguise as Negisi. After that, He go to Corp. Vacation. So, in day 3, Kogoro spying on a faith Negisi.
Conan catch Negisi who was going to take a plane to escape to foreign country with 3 billion on his hand. Conan kicked him with a car wheel using his new power shoes from Professor Agasa.
File 4 - 7 -- Devlish Woman
A woman named Masami Hirota came to Kogoro to ask him to search for her father who was missing.
Accidentally, Conan puta small transmitter on her watch. Kogoro, with Ran's help,
managed to find Masami's father on The Tokyo HorseRace.
The next day, masami's father found killed on his apartment, He seems to have killed by a big man,
and Masami's herself was missing. Conan, Kogoro, and Ran follow her steps with the transmitter receiver on Conan's
glasses to a hotel. They ask the receptionist for Masami's room. In front of the lift, they met a woman
bringing some suspicious briefcase. When Kogoro went inside Masami room, they found a big man dead,
and empty briefcase besides him.
Conan, who knew that the suspicious woman they met was Masami, deducted that The three person,
connected with this story above, was the robber of a bank. They robbed 4 million. The first person was the driver.
His job was to escape with the money from the ploice. But, he traited his friend and run away with the money,
so, Masami search him and admited as his daughter.
Masami brought the 4 million to a transaction with the MIB to got her sister back
(her sister's name Shiho Miyano or Ai Haibara alias "Shery", you'll find her at book 18.
Actually, Masami's real name is Akemi Miyano. She use "Masami" name to disguise from the police).
But the MIB killed her, and because on the gun found next to her body only found her finger print,
the case closed as a suicide.
File 8 - 10 -- Mystery of a house
In school, Ayumi told Detective Boys about a haunted house she saw last night.
There was a scary screaming from the house and a spirit fire flew behind the window.
And then, Ayumi forced Detective boys to find out what was happening inside the house.
They get in from a secret door, but in the middle of the "investigation",
Mitsuhiko disappear,and Genta also disappear when he went to search MItsuhiko. Conan and Ayumi search
for Mtsu and Genta. They found a secret passage to an underground jail. There was a man on there.
He is the one who made the screaming.
The deduction Conan made was : The man on the jail is the murder of his father 5 years ago.
the police close the case with "unsolved" status because his mother protect him.
That was why his mother put him on the jail, so that nobody know that he is the murder.
But for him, his guilt was too big. He allways been chased by his guilty feeling.
The next day, He and his mother give themself to the police, and after that,
the house back to it's calmness.
