	Ikari Shinji (Voice: Ogata Megumi) The main character of the story. He is great pilot of Evangelion Unit One. His mother died when he was very little because of her project. He and his father, Gendou, had to lived apart for while. A sudden message from Gendou brought Shinji to Tokyo-3, and on that very day,Third Angel attacks the city. As a chosen Evangelion Operator, he fights on, though thoroughly agonized. He is referred to as Third Children. He is a quiet, shy- type. Age: 14.
	Ayanami Rei (Voice: Hayashibara Megumi) Pilot of Evangelion Unit Zero. Has been undergoing special training since Evangelion development began. Suffered serious injuries when an accident occurred during testing. Referred to as "First Children" ("the first qualifier"). A girl of very few words. Has considerable difficulty expressing emotion. She do not even know when to smile. But she is ok because she is pretty cute with her blue-hair Age:14.
	Sohryu Asuka Langley (Voice: Miyamura Yuuko.) Pilot of Evangelion Unit Two. Like Rei, she too has undergone special training. Three-quarters German, one-quarter Japanese, born and raised in the U.S. Hates to lose at anythinShe feels superior over all Childeren and proud of that she is Second Child. Referred to as "Second Children" ("the second qualifier). First appears in episode eight.Age: 14
	Katsuragi Misato (Voice: Mitsuishi Kotono) "NERV" Operations Chief. Evangelion Pilot Shinji's immediate superior. In the course of events, she becomes a guardian/caretaker figure to Shinji and other pilots as well. An attractive woman with a cheerful, optimistic personality. She loves beer =) Age: 29.
	Akagi Ritsuko (Voice: Yamaguchi Yuriko) Head of the Evangelion Development Project. Has known Misato since they were in school together. A cool, intellectual beauty. She is cold sometime, but hot when she working on something. Age: 30.
	Suzuhara Touji (Voice: Seki Tomokazu.) A classmate and close friend of Shinji's(well, after they fought once). A hothead type who is very direct in expressing his feelings. Speaks in Osaka dialect. Age: 14. First appears in episode three.
	Aida Kensuke (Voice: Iwanaga Tetsuya.) Another classmate and close friend of Shinji's. A military otaku, he carries a video camera with him wherever he goes. Very hyper person Age: 14. First Appears in Episode three.
	Kaji Ryouji (Voice: Yamadera Kooichi.) Together with Asuka, he comes to Japan from NERV Section Three, in Germany. An old friend of Misato and Ritsuko. And mark this, he is spy~
	Ikari Gendou (Voice: Tatsuki Fumihiko) Supreme Commander of the special agency, NERV. Chief Director of the Evangelion Development Project. Father of Shinji. A man about whom there is a great deal of mystery. I do not like him very much, well, I do not like at least of his glasses Age: 48.
	Penpen (Voice: tell me) Well, he or she is just a penguine. He is pet of Misato and friend of everyone =)
