~~~ History ~~~
Website:
Sganime.ORG is a non-commercial, non-profitable and non-sponsored website (unless anyone wants to sponsor, I'm welcome to accept).
The first SGanime site started in June of 1997. At that time it was in Geocities and named as Peacock's Homepage. A little site of mine which only focuses on a list of anime broadcasted in Singapore and a whole page of complains about TCS.
Of course soon after I finished my 'O' levels, I found a web hosting company Tierranet which offers a variety of services at a very reasonable price. Since December 1997, it has kept their promise of unlimited web space and traffic which makes them really reliable despite they have now limited them. Their servers are seldom down and reasonably satisfactory.
Anyway, the first site was officially launched at 1-1-98 in time for new year. It had an image map of Record of Lodoss War. Sections included that time are The Anime List, vote, Music Station, Mailing List, Clamp, Rumiko Takahashi, What's New and About the Webmaster.
The 2nd renovation was finished in June of 1998. It has a panel acting like a window so when user mouseover the buttons a brief description  appears. Additional pages are the survey, links and guest book.
The 3rd renovation was finished in December of 1998 with less active pages taken out and the manga review page added in. Main feature is the banner which rolls in from the left with a badly anti-aliased image. This was the first attempt to make use of layers with JavaScript.
The 4th renovation done on June of 1999 also uses both layers and JavaScript with left side menu moving up and right side moving down to position. Frames are introduced to make it more easy to navigate.
The sganime.ORG was registered somewhere on Oct. 1999. But the .com was already taken by someone else.
The present interface is an alteration of the previous with JavaScript removed. More sections were added such as the sgma ml and wwwboard/forum. Thus I removed all frames due to great confusion of structure @_@
Well that's almost about it. To see thumbnails of past interfaces click here.
Discussion Mailing Lists:
The first mailing list server was listbox.com which was applied on that same year (September), 1997. Soon it was moved to makelist.com which is now known as egroups.com. The first batch of subscribers came from the Clamp mailing list as I "advertised" there a bit. Now it successfully holds more than 150 members.
~~~About the webmistress?~~~

Hi, many people thought I'm a guy, well actually I'm an 18-year old female student presently schooling at NYP's DMD (going to be year 3). Some were amazed and think of me like an endangered species not knowing that there are actually many more girls who are into anime and manga. More information can be found at KG, my personal website.

~~~Donations/ Advertising/Help??~~~
Although I have been trying hard to keep the website upgoing, it's a really money-consuming (esp. I'm an art student) and time-consuming (I can only do updates when I have my school holidays). I have to pay more than S$400~500 a year to maintain the domain and website. So I am ultra angry whenever someone links directly to my files without giving credits as if they made them their own. Not forgetting how much time I spent to create the contents, upload the files, respond to emails, maintain the mailing list, etc...
-Donations are welcome!!! Please contact me.
-Reliable help is also wanted to maintain a SCV list (by public demand). I can't do that because I'm not a SCV subscriber, no use sending me lists after lists of anime when I don't know how its going to be maintained in the future nor do I know if it's as complete.
