This site is intended to provide resources to make the most of the
Classic Motorola MT-500 Handie Talkie.  Capable of going onto 10
meters, 6 meters, 2 meters and 70cm amateur bands, depending on which
model you have.  Extensive technical information, diagrams, and
replacement part numbers, some of which can still be ordered from
Motorola.  There is also a history of this model, which many agree was
the best hand held ever made by Motorola, even when compared to today's
modern equipment.
