The Developer program on pOS - EpOS !

To offer you an optimal support in the development and distribution of your products, the developer program EpOS has been founded. We, proDAD, are of the opinion, that the development for pOS only justifies a financial commitment from the developers if commercial use is intended.

The division into three developer categories allows the just partition of service and duties adjusted to the need of the developer. The compensation for the effort is based on the categories and on the commercial targets.

The different developer categories are structured as follows:

The EpOS program features:

    All categories:
  • pOS and updates
  • pOS debug version
  • pOS includes
  • special discount for pOS development tools you get from third party companies
  • authorized access to password protected proDAD site, providing additional information and software
  • subscription to a pOS-related mailing list
    Additionally, Pre-Commercials and Commercials may (upon request) obtain the following services:
  • proDAD developer tools
  • information-exchange pool via address list
  • direct support (help on demand)
    • Marketing assistance for distribution of products
    • establishing press contacts
    • establishing distribution contacts to distributors, specialist dealers, etc.
    • establishing contacts to other manufacturers
  • Possible assignment of the pOS-Product-Quality seal
    • Active publication in the press
    • Publication in the pOS-columns of established magazines, ONLINE-magazines and in other media via joint News-Page, that can be called up by the magazines for publication of the contents
  • Possibility to include a full or demo version on the pOS-Extras CD for promotion and/or distribution purposes

Important: Please let us know details about your planned pOS project! Send a short description along with the application form.

Because some people have reported problems with the postscript application form
we now have a lzh-packed RTF-Document which you can fill in with your word processor and print out to post it.
If anything else fails, there is still the plain ASCII Version of the form. Please return the filled in form to us after signing it on both sides. A signed copy will then be sent to you together with a confirmation note and your developer ID.
