This section describes in general terms all the types of entities which can occur in the world. A distinction is made between the type of an object and the status of an object. Type is used in reference to the kind of object some entity is, that is, whether it is a creature, inanimate object, growth, etc. Status is used to specify further division within an object, for example, most creatures have both a living state and a dead state. Indeed the status concept is generally only relevant to creatures as most other entities can only exist in a single state.
