We recommend reading through these instructions entirely, or printing them, before you download the viewer. 2. To achieve the very best image quality we recommend setting your monitor to 16 bit color. 3. Download the Win3.1 PhotoBubble Viewer. 4. Go back to your program manager and locate the file BUBVU31.EXE. Copy BUBVU31.EXE to a new directory. Note: you can create a new directory by choosing File/Create Directory in your program manager. 5. Run BUBVU31.EXE. Now you are ready to setup. Run SETUP.EXE. Running setup installs the PhotoBubble Viewer in the directory C:\OMNIVIEW. 6. Go back to your browser now. NOTE: If you are using AOL, skip ahead to step 7.2. 7.1The directions for setting the Preferences in Netscape are below. The procedure is similar for other Web browsers. a. Choose Preferences from the Options menu. b. In the Preferences menu go to Set Preferences On, then choose Helper Applications. c. Click on the New Type button. d. On the Mime Type command line, type: application. On the Mime SubType command line type: photobubble. [Image] e. Click Ok. f. In the Preferences menu, go to the File Type extensions command line and type: bub. g. In the Action box, choose Launch Application, then choose Browse. h. In the pop-up file directory, open the C:\OMNIVIEW directory and select BUBVIEWR.EXE. Click OK. [Image] i. BUBVIEWR.EXE should now be listed as the Application for the file type application/photobubble. [Image] j. Click OK. Your browser is now configured for the PhotoBubble Viewer. When you click on a PhotoBubble the Viewer will automatically launch. 7.2 For AOL users only: a. Go to the web page containing the PhotoBubbles you would like to view. Click on a PhotoBubble. b. The first time you try to view a PhotoBubble in AOL, a prompt will ask you if you would like to configure a viewer. Click yes. c. In the pop-up directory, open the C:\OMNIVIEW directory and select BUBVIEWR.EXE. Click OK. Now each time you click on a PhotoBubble, AOL will automatically launch the Viewer. If AOL fails to prompt you.... d. Go to the Members Menu item in AOL. e. Choose Set Preferences. f. Click on the WWW icon. g. Click on the Helper App icon in the upper rt. corner. h. Choose New in the Helper App dialog box. i. In the Desciption command line type: PhotoBubble Viewer. j. In the Content Type&SubType command line type: Application/PhotoBubble. k. In the File Extension command line type: bub. l. In the Application Name command line type: C:/Omniview/Bubviewr.exe. m. Close the Preferences windows.
