Q: Are there new alphabets
with the Becky Higgins Creative Clips and Fonts program?
A: The Becky Higgins Creative Clips and Fonts CD does not include any
new alphabets.
Q: Where
are my bonus fonts?
A: The
bonus fonts refer to black and white TrueType fonts and can be found in your
desktop publishing program font list. Go to any of your word processing or desktop
publishing programs and open the font list (the same place you find Arial, Times
New Roman, etc.). There you will find all of the Creative Lettering fonts. They
all start with "CK." Remember that they have to be installed
before you can use them.
Q: Why
do some of the TrueType fonts show "Not Available" when I type a certain
character?
A: Some
fonts lend themselves to title text more than body text. In those font sets,
certain symbols that are not normally used in titles are left out.
Q:
The colors of the fonts and Clips look strange.
A: It's likely that
your screen resolution or colors need adjustment. To improve the colors or resolution
of your computer screen, go to the Monitors or Appearance control panels and
adjust your settings. You may also benefit from Calibrating your monitor. See
your system Help file for specific instructions for these and related topics.
Q: I would like to create
copies of "Becky Higgins Creative Clips and Fonts" CD images or make
copies of the CK fonts to give to friends and family. Is this okay?
A: It's
okay to print out paper copies of the "Becky Higgins Creative Clips and
Fonts" images and give them to others if you are not receiving any sort
of monetary (or other) compensation for them. In other words, you may not resell
the images in any format. You may not make copies of the CD or computer files
(including fonts) and distribute them to others. This is a violation of your
contract and copyright laws. Please see the License
Agreement if you have any questions.
Q:
I have a black-and-white printer, but the Creative Clips are color only. Will
they still print correctly?
A: A
black-and-white printer will convert color images to various shades of gray
automatically.
Q:
I would like to use some of
the CK fonts and/or graphics in a published or printed work. Is that okay?
A: If you are using the graphics or fonts in any way that leads
to financial increase, you need to contact Creating
Keepsakes (via e-mail or fax) for information on licensing and restrictions.
Please refer to the license agreement.
