The first thing we do in this picture, is fill the bottom half of the
screen in blue. One way that this can be done is by using the box
command. You should first set the background colour to blue (using
<Alt>+A), move the cursor to halfway down the screen in the first column,
and press <Alt>+B. Select a box type of 0 (uses spaces), and then resize
the box with the arrow keys until it fills the entire bottom half of the
screen.
Now you can start doing the text. First select the "Celtic casual" font
(using <Alt>+T), and set the colour to white on black (<Alt>+A). You can
now write the upright "VIRONIX", and position it with the arrow keys.
Press <Enter> when it is positioned properly.
For the inverted "VIRONIX", we first set the colour to bright blue on
blue (using <Alt>+A). We then move the cursor to where the writing should
appear, type "VIRONIX", and press <Enter>. Now to invert the text, we
will have to move it into a buffer.
Move the cursor to the top left corner of the writing, and press <Alt>+M.
Use the arrow keys to size the selection area until it contains all the
writing, and then press <Enter>. Press 1 to save it into buffer number 1.
Now we must copy it back out of the buffer onto the screen again (using
<Alt>+P). Press <End> to invert the image, position it with the arrow
keys, and then press <Enter> when finished.
Now for the text slogan. First set the colour to white on black (using
<Alt>+A), and press <Alt>+T to get back to normal text mode. Then you can
type in the text on the line you want it to appear. If it isn't quite
centered, you may want to use the justification function. First press
<Alt>+J, and then select C (for centered) to select the justification
type. Then (with the cursor on the line containing the text), press
<F10> and the line will be centered.
Now to add the colour to the text. First set the colour to bright blue on
black (<Alt>+A). Then move the cursor to the first character of the text,
and press <Alt>+Z to perform the cycle colour effect. Use the arrow keys
to resize the effected area until it covers the text, and press the <->
key until you see all three colours. You can then press <Enter> and the
colours will be permanently set.
The only thing left now is the background of stars. Press <Shift>+<Alt>+L
to select the "Stars" pattern, set the text colour to brown (to set the
density of the stars), and then press <Alt>+L to fill the background.
