  SPACEBAR REDEFINE <F3>

This function will enable you to define the character that is displayed
when you press the spacebar. Normally this should be the blank character
(ASCII 32), but you may want to redefine it to something else temporarily
to speed up entry of high ASCII characters.

E.g. if you wanted to draw a whole lot of inverted exclamation marks
(ASCII 173), you would set this to 173 and pressing space would then
produce an inverted exclamation mark (.). When you were finished, you
could once again set it back to a space (ASCII 32) by entering a value of
  32.
