League Tracker V3.2 Readme file ------------------------------- What is it ? ------------ League Tracker is a Windows program that allows you to track one or more Football league tables through the season. You can track your own tables (local league for example) or the four English tables provided. League Tracker also allows you to predict the results of future matches and analyse their impact on league table positions. You can also record the details of non-league matches. How much does it cost ? ----------------------- League Tracker is Freeware. You are free to use it and pass it on to others without charge. What do I need to run it ? -------------------------- Ltrack version 3.2 will ONLY run under Windows 95 or Windows NT. It will NOT run under Windows 3.1 or OS/2. Version 1.6 is available (with less function) for Windows 3.1 users. Ltrack 3.2 will read files saved with version 1.6 and above of Ltrack. It will NOT read files from version 1.5 or earlier. NOTE : If your copy of Ltrack was provided on a magazine cover CD, you may have problems after installing it on your hard disk. After copying the files to your hard disk, make sure that the .div files are NOT marked as Read-Only. To do this, select the files in Explorer, and select properties from the right-click menu, then make sure Read-Only is unselected. Installation ------------ If you received Ltrack on a floppy disk, you can install the program using the supplied setup program. To save space, the setup program is not included in the ltrack Zip file available as a download. To perform a manual install, follow the following procedure: 1. Create a new directory for League Tracker on your hard disk and copy the Ltrack files to it. The files provided are: LTRACK32.EXE - League Tracker executable LTRACK.HLP - Help file LTRACK.CNT - Help contents DIV0.DIV - 97/98 Premier Division data file DIV1.DIV - 97/98 Division 1 data file DIV2.DIV - 97/98 Division 2 data file DIV3.DIV - 97/98 Division 3 data file PREM94.DIV - Premier Division for 94/95 PREM95.DIV - Premier Division for 95/96 PREM96.DIV - Premier Division for 96/97 README.TXT - This file 2. Create a shortcut for Ltrack. a. Right click on the desktop to display the pop-up menu. b. Select NEW and Shortcut c. Enter the path to ltrack32.exe in the command line edit box (eg. c:\ltrack\ltrack32.exe) and click next. d. Enter the title, eg Ltrack 3.2 and click finish Running Ltrack -------------- Ltrack now has full online help available.
