07140204, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on State Highway 156, 2 mi northeast of Hecker, 5 mi west of New Athens,
and at mile 17.3.
DRAINAGE AREA.--129 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1969 to current year. October 1980 to September 1994 (8 a.m. gage heights).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 375.00 ft above sea level. June 28, 1976, to Nov. 9, 1978,
nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
REMARKS.--No estimated daily discharges. Records good. Effluent from two sewage-treatment plants 13-16 mi upstream
averaged about 14.7 ft3/s per day. Gage-height telemeter at station.
