CREATING A NEW CARD: Use the "New Card" button on each card ----or----- Command-"N"-Tab on the keyboard. The button automatically places the "I" beam in the "Disk Name" box while the keyboard requires the tab. 2. ENTERING DATA: Type the disk name then "Tab" to "Contents". After each entry in "Contents" use "Return" to drop down to the next line until you are done with "Contents", then "Tab" to "Description"and follow the same procedure. If you have to "Tab" back to a field that contains text--TO SAVE THE TEXT YOU MUST MOVE THE POINTER WHERE YOU WANT TO BEGIN TYPING & CLICK, anything else will delete the text. 3. DESCRIPTION & MISC. INFO. Columns: Use your own words in describing the programs you have listed under "Contents" as many times you will be looking for a paticular program but can't remember the name. You may however remember a key word that describes it and you can use THAT word to locate it with the "Finder" button. 4. LAUNCH APPLICATION: When you have located the program on a particular disk that shows up on your screen, insert the disk in your Mac. Click the "Launch Program" button and a message box will appear asking " Where is Program" - Click "DRIVE"--locate progam on disk and open without leaving HyperCard. 5: "ADD TO HOME" button: Clicking this button automatically puts the "DiskManager" icon on your Home Card. To install the icon, you must be on the Authoring level. After installing you may return to your previous level. Hope you enjoy!!
