How do I catch things in the air?

Hint 1 of 6:

If you haven't noticed already, there's a mushroom-like platform just
near the saxophonist.  All the things that fly in the air will be near that
platform for a while.

Hint 2 of 6:

There's a hole on this scene that leads you right to that mushroom.
It's right next to the stocking cap.  Just click on it to reach the platform.

Hint 3 of 6:

Now you'll need something to catch the things that fly by your head.

Hint 4 of 6:

The stocking cap can probably be used to catch things, but you'll first
need something to attach to the cap to make a full-fledged net.

Hint 5 of 6:

Like a drumstick maybe?
