A note on hardware requirements ************************************ 1. What is installed with AA.exe? You have downloaded the evaluation version of Audio Architect. This includes the program executable ‘AA.exe’, with any private DLLs that it requires. It also includes online help files, design sheet examples - .mae files, and some samples that can be used in the sample player module, they are standard .WAV files. 2. Product Description Audio Architect recreates patchboard analogue synthesis on your PC. It has all the functionality of a modular synthesiser combined with the ease of use of a modern digital synthesiser. Simply place the modules on a design sheet, by dragging them from the Audio Architect Toolbox, connect them up by dragging them over each other (holding the right mouse button down) set the parameters, and you are ready to go. The output in the current version is to a .WAV file, which can be plated through any soundcard with a minimum of 16 bit wave output. 3. Terms of license You have downloaded a piece of shareware - free for the first thirty days of use, but there after you must register to make it a fully licensed version Unauthorised duplication of the Audio Architect program is strictly prohibited. .mae and .wav files supplied with Audio Architect may be used by users without restriction. 4. Registration information Registration for this evaluation version costs $50 / £30. This will entitle the registered user the opportunity to get the next version of Audio Architect, complete with Real time output, and MIDI input interface for $133 / £80, instead of $290 / £175, for unregistered users. Known Bugs The cut / copy / paste commands or not available in this version, neither is the undo command. These will all be available in the next version of Audio Architect. Please inform us of any bugs you find immediately. 7. Future releases The next release of Audio Architect (available to registered users for a reduced price) will include the Real time output straight to the Soundcard, and the MIDI input interface.
