About three weeks ago a Denver tv station ran a news segment about a UFO sighting in Salida, CO. A local person had gotten several minutes of good video footage. I have seen that tape -- very odd indeed. Mid-day, cloudless sky. What one sees is a bright bar of light, perhaps twenty times as long as it is thick. The image is good enough that at least a certain amount of detail can be seen. If you look closely, you can see brighter points of light moving back and forth along the bar. The thing seems to be bouncing around in the sky a little. Witnesses said it would suddenly jump thirty degrees across the sky "in just a second." I does not change aspect to show anything but the bar profile.
I have just discovered that additional sightings are happening there today -- just this morning. Is there anyone in the area that can check this out for us? Salida is about two hours SSW of Denver.
