What is rzsz

rzsz is an implementation of the zmodem protocol. This package lets you transfer data via a serial link between two machines, or via a modem (see uucp). (rz = receive zmodem, sz = send zmodem) supported are text and binary zmodem, ymodem, and xmodem file transfers. Please refer to the manual pages for more information. ('man rz', 'man sz')

Installation Method

All of the subsystems for this product can be installed using IRIX. You do not need to use the miniroot. Refer to the Software Installation Administrator's Guide for complete installation instructions.

Compatibility

This software is compatible with IRIX 5.3 and IRIX 6.1.
