Known Problems and Workarounds
Xmorph will not work in a 24-bit X session (i.e. one that was started with
these pertinent words in the /usr/lib/X11/xdm/Xservers file:
:0 ... -class TrueColor -depth 24
It will fail with:
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 72 (X_PutImage)
Serial number of failed request: 800
Current serial number in output stream: 801
There is no work around at the moment besides running your server in the
(default) pseudo color mode, i.e. comment out the line that mentions
-class TrueColor -depth 24,
and add a line with:
:0 secure /usr/bin/X11/X -bs -nobitscale -c -pseudomap 4sight -solidroot
sgilightblue -cursorFG red -cursorBG white
and restart the X server (as root: killall -HUP Xsgi)
The author will be contacted and a patch will probably be available soon.
