The Toolchest menu is your home base--designed to be a starting point for anything you need to do. Each item on the Toolchest contains several commands and options that fall under the category of the menu label.

For example, to perform personal system administration tasks such as creating a backup tape or adding a password to your login account, choose System > System Manager. To bring up a file from another system on your network, choose Desktop > Access Files > By Remote Login. To look for an application you know you have installed, choose Find > Applications.

Note: If you accidentally close the Toolchest, log out and then back in. The Toolchest will reappear.
