The Horde King animation (from the video game The Horde - published by Crystal Dynamics) was actually a last minute job (Gee! Like that's so unusual!). Originally, a man in a suit was supposed to play the monster. Those shots didn't turn out as we had expected so I ended up making, animating, and rendering a CG monster into the shots for the final battle.
