HardDrives

Internal hard disk drives are mounted on a carrier and come with a standardized Single Connector Attach (SCA) connector. The carrier is attached to the drive and then slides into the chassis to mate with the SCA connector on the SCSI backplane. Removable media drives (and other low performance drives) will not have the standardized connector so they will require a cable adapter.
