Senior Software Engineers, SmartScene Team (2 positions)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely delivery of projects as a senior member of the SmartScene engineering team. Take over, package, and maintain existing code base, particularly areas of direct manipulation and acyclic graphics representing constrained systems or parts.
• Architect new areas of functionality. Main technical conduit to research for purposes of embedding research results into SmartScene.

Preferred requirements

• 5+ years experience working major C++ projects
• Computer graphics & 3D concentration
• Strong math skills: linear algebra, analytic geometry, solving constraint
• Systems, spline, surface terrain a plus
• Realtime and VR experience a plus
• Windows/NT and or Unix background required
• SGI experience a plus

Educational requirements

BS in Math/Computer Science, advanced degree in Math a plus
