MULTIGEN NEW ADDITION
FOCUSES ON CUSTOMER SERVICE
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- March 10, 1997 -- MultiGen Inc., the leader in realtime 3D authoring software, announced today that it has named Brian Bartel as the Vice President of Professional Services. In a new role for MultiGen, Bartel will be responsible for the technical support, customer training and the introduction of the new customer solutions center.

"As an experienced software support manager and a recognized industry expert and consultant, Brian understands the needs of our clients and prospects. He will also be able to define and enhance service and support programs that will result in successful partnerships between MultiGen and its customers."
Bartel brings to MultiGen the ability to develop a comprehensive integrated support program for all of the company's customers. He has seasoned experience as an executive managing sales, engineering and marketing professionals.
Prior to joining MultiGen, Bartel was a principal at his own consulting company. He founded this firm to provide consulting services, focusing on service delivery improvement and support excellence for high technology companies.
Bartel played many different roles and represented a number of different companies including: Service Management International, Netcom, General Magic, Netscape, and Cisco Systems. Before he began consulting, Bartel spent 10 years at Software Publishing, where he held many different support positions, including Senior Manager of Support Operations and Technical Support Manager.
Bartel received an MBA in management from UCLA, Anderson Graduate School and he earned a BS in computer science from California State University, Chico. He is also a well-respected and much-requested speaker at industry conferences and events.
