MULTIGEN ANNOUNCES CHRIS STOCKER
AS NEWDIRECTOR OF MARKETING

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- February 24, 1997 -- MultiGen Inc., the leader in realtime 3D authoring software, announced today that it has named H. Chris Stocker as Director of Marketing. In this new role for MultiGen, Stocker will oversee the company's marketing, public relations, advertising, seminar and tradeshow activities. He will report to Michael Cottle, Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing for MultiGen Inc.

"Chris' extensive background in marketing exciting, innovative multimedia products will be very valuable in continuing to raise the awareness and visibility of MultiGen products to the realtime 3D markets," said Cottle. "As we expand our activities and offerings in the visual simulation, training and entertainment markets, we recognize the need for the type of marketing expertise that Chris will provide."

Prior to joining MultiGen, Stocker was Director of Marketing for the Information Technologies Division at Sony Electronics. At Sony, Stocker was instrumental in the recognition of Sony as a leader in the computer peripherals market and responsible for all marketing communications efforts behind the launch of Sony's new personal computer. He also held the position of Director of Sales for the Multimedia Products Division at Sony.

Before joining Sony, Stocker spent 10 years with Apple Computer, Inc. where he held a variety of high-level sales and marketing functions. While at Apple, he was largely responsible for the success of Apple's products in the advertising and graphic arts industry. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Connecticut.
