MULTIGEN PROMOTES MIKE COTTLE TO VICE PRESIDENT, WORLDWIDE SALES AND MARKETING
Former Strategic Mapping Executive to Head Sales and Marketing Organizations for Leading Realtime 3D Company
San Jose, Calif.--August 2, 1996--MultiGen Inc., the leader in realtime 3D authoring software, today announced that Michael Cottle has been promoted to vice president, worldwide sales and marketing. In his new capacity, Cottle will oversee the company's global sales and marketing effort. Previously, Cottle was director, channel sales and marketing, for MultiGen. Cottle was formerly vice president of sales at Strategic Mapping Inc., a worldwide provider of mapping software and demographic solutions.
"Mike has over 15 years of multi-national, multi-channel management experience with diverse software companies. He will be a particularly valuable asset to MultiGen as we expand our relationships with channels in a variety of markets for realtime 3D," said Joe Fantuzzi, president and CEO of MultiGen. Prior to his association with Strategic Mapping, Cottle was director of North American and, subsequently, Asian sales at MapInfo Corporation. Cottle has also held a number of senior sales and sales management positions with Sybase, Inc., Interleaf, Inc., and Xerox Corporation. Cottle has a BA in Mathematics from the University of Dallas.
