HyperROM

Tracer's HyperROM, the ultimate in CDROM management software, allows you to manage hundreds of CDROMs on your SGI system with both jukeboxes and drive arrays. Access to ISO and EFS CDROMs is completely transparent and location-independent: HyperROM makes it appear that all CDROMs are mounted simultaneously. A hard disk database is used to store metadata so that users can browse the CDROMs without causing platters to be loaded. HyperROM also uses a tunable, scalable migration scheme to speed access to frequently used data.
