GSI-ART

GSI has developed a powerful, state-of-the-art geometric database articulation package that simulates a wide variety of robotic and machine systems incorporating various structures (hydrolic cylinders, rotator cuffs, universal, slide, pivot joints).

This software allows the user to inject grips, joint definitions and constraints. A second version will include efficiency enhancemnet tools, a superior interface, an expanded constraint set, and visualization and animation tools.

The articulation tool is capable of acting on a wide variety of database formats including CSG, complex surface, and facet. Users must first obtain a free BRL-CAD license.
