VI2STA

VI2STA is the popular I2S remote sensing software package which runs in X Windows under the Motif window manager. VI2STA's pipeline processing capability allows the viewing, processing and exploitation of very large images stored as standard UNIX files on the local disk or over the network. As an image is roamed, the various specified operations are executed on the image in the display window. When the user is satisfied with the result from a number of selected operations, the entire scene on disk is processed. A programming environment is also available, allowing users to develop their own custom programs and execute them through the same consistent menu interface as other VI2STA functions.
