PCMS*SII System Integration Interface

PCMS*SII is a facility to support those customers who need to establish an interface between their own applications software and SQL Software's PCMS products.

PCMS*SII consists of both an API and a callout facility. The API provides functions that support access to PCMS data structures (published views) and the ability to call PCMS commands. This allows the reading and amendment of data in the PCMS database via programs written in the C language. Pre- and Post-Event Trigger Callouts at the user level allow user programs to be linked to and called from PCMS commands that affect the operation and transformation of change-documents. This allows the behavior of PCMS commands to be modified by user code enabling very tight integration by the customer.
