MAGNETO© is a fully integrated, interactive, CAE package for electromagnetic field analysis. It is used for 2-D/RS magnetic design applications catering to linear, nonlinear, and permanent magnet materials. Applications include transformers, solenoids, AC/DC motors, magnets, and charging fixtures. Based on the boundary element method (BEM), MAGNETO includes geometric modelers, static and quasi-static field solvers. No finite element mesh is required. MAGNETO offers easy open region problem analysis, providing smooth, accurate results and exact boundary modeling. MAGNETO calculates magnetic field component distributions, forces, torques, potentials, capacitance, and mutual and self-inductances for arbitrary structures. MAGNETO includes a BATCH and PARAMETRIC Analysis function in addition to IGES and DXF geometry translation.
