NCAR Graphics

The NCAR Graphics System was originally developed by the National Center for Atmospheric Research. It consists of a suite of utility and applications subroutines that produce graphical output in the form of a metacode instruction file. Metacode translators are provided to display the output on a variety of output devices. All of this software is designed to produce output to a device-independent output file. Metacode translators are included to output these files to a large variety of graphical devices.
