FIREware

FIREware is an exclusive software product developed for the LightJet and FIRE 1000+ continuous-tone color film recorders. FIREware, when used with Cymbolic Sciences' film recorders, is used by the following industries: graphic arts, GIS, medical imaging, CAD, etc. The film recorders have resolution of up to 2,540 dpi and use Kodak Ektachrome 100, Vericolor III or T-Max 100 film. FIREware allows you to view, manipulate and plot images from the host platform's disc. Support is provided for the following industry standard file formats: TIFF, Scitex CT, Targa, Alias PIX and CSI IMG. FIREware's functionality is the same on the industry's most popular platforms: Silicon Graphics, IRIX 5.x or later; Macintosh Quadra, System 7.x; i486 and Pentium PC, Windows 3.1; Sun Microsystems, Solaris 1.0.
