BasinSeis

BasinSeis is a seismic/geologic interpretation package that incorporates the use of sequence stratigraphic concepts and seismic stratigraphic techniques to predict variation in lithogacies, lithology and rock properties.

By importing GeoQuest, Landmark or raw SEG-Y seismic data, BasinSeis offers users of all levels the tools to perform consistent, verifiable seismic stratigraphy interpretations and picking.

The output of BasinSeis can be in form for generating seismic facies maps, sand percent maps, facies maps and maps of sequences or systems tracts. The rock properties output can be utilized in 2-D seismic modelling packages, ray trace modelling programs, velocity model generation, and gravity modelling, as well as Platte River's BasinMod 2-D®.
