Cimatron NC operates directly on your Cimatron design models, or on data read in from IGES, DXF, VDA, or Pro/E files, to generate, edit, and verify toolpaths. The application supports milling from 2.5- to 5-axis work, as well as drilling, turning, punching, and wire EDM operations. Multiple surface milling is supported with automatic gouge-checking, automatic roughing fo complex geometries, and automatic pocketing. Toolpaths may be easily edited and updated, and changed geometries and toolpaths are automatically checked and flagged. Dedicated post processors and a post rocessor generator produce NC files for virtually any machine. A fast, photorealistic simulator lets you preview the precise toolpath.
