VIVID GIO-32 NIC for IRIX

The VIVID GIO-32 Network Interface Card (NIC) provides connectivity for an Indy workstation to a VIVID ATM network. Once connected to the ATM network, the user will have very high speed access to all network services and applications, as well as to Ethernet connected workstations through other VIVID elements. Ideal for high volume image transfers, digital video applications and high speed data communications. The driver supports both an emulated LAN interface supporting existing IP based applications, and a native application programming interface for the development of new ATM based applications which take advantage of the performance and quality of service attributes that an ATM network offers.

The VIVID product line also includes an ATM switch, Ethernet to ATM switch, and a range of host interface cards for SBus, EISA< GIO-32 and PCI based platforms.
